The Excess shipyard offers a range of modern and connected catamarans, conceived by the naval architecture studio VPLP Design and by the French shipyards of the Bénéteau Group, builders of the famous Lagoon catamarans that combine skills and passion for the sea. Their goal was to create a boat that is both sleek, simple and accessible, whose line offers a balance between the need for comfort of a multihull and the desire to experience the sensations of a monohull.
The Xcess 12 catamaran respects this philosophy in some design choices that distinguish it from other catamarans of similar size.
In particular, the excellent visibility on the sails, the fine adjustment offered by the double wheelhouse at the stern, the rig, the hulls, the sharing of space, the life on board, the materials, everything has been designed to optimize the life of the guests on board and to make the navigation of the catamaran more dynamic and closer to that of a monohull.
Internally the cabins are designed with modern, large and bright lines and with the private toilet directly accessible from the cabin.
The dinette is large and bright with its 360 ° windows and super-equipped kitchen.
Finally, the cockpit enjoys large space and abundant seating around the large table as well as a unique brightness due to the design choice of a partially opening bimini.
