The Belize 43 Maestro’s hull and deck plan was designed by naval architect Michel Joubert, with the interior accommodations and finish designed by Olivier Flahault. It is easy to handle and fast under sail.
Joubert has specified 1195 square feet of sail for the Belize 43, making her one of the fastest in her class. However, the sails are easy to hoist and haul thanks to the fully battened, mainsail on ball bearing batten cars and the genoa furler.
The deck of the Belize 43 offers large foredeck netting for sunbathing, stargazing and dolphin watching. The cockpit will accommodate up to ten people for entertaining with easy access to the stern boarding areas for quick dinghy escapes. The cockpit table accommodates eight for al fresco dining and the extra large custom made bimini top provides excellent sun protection.
Every navigational aspect has been optimized and the helm station is protected by a fixed plexi-glass screen.
The interior spaces are bright, airy and wide open. The circular dinette to port seats up to eight and is joined to the starboard galley with a service bar within easy reach for meals and entertaining.
The sleeping cabins are well ventilated and have at least one hull opening window, overhead hatch, hanging locker, and storage for soft duffel bags.
